Step Into the Game – Beginner Golf Events at Glen Waverley & Oakleigh Golf Clubs
Are you new to golf and looking for a fun, friendly way to get into the game? Join us at our Beginner Golf Events held at the beautiful Glen Waverley and Oakleigh Golf Clubs in Melbourne!
These relaxed and social 9-hole events are the perfect introduction to golf competition without the pressure. Whether you’re just picking up a club for the first time or looking to gain a bit of on-course experience, this is your chance to play in a supportive, welcoming environment.
Every participant will receive a WWLG gift bag, enjoy light snacks, and have the chance to win some great prizes. Come along, meet fellow golf newcomers, and take your first steps into the world of golf—where fun, friendship, and fairways await!
New to golf or are you just looking to compete in a women only event? Here is your chance to compete in a fun and competitive environment.
What's Included:
Arrival : Start your morning with a complimentary WWLG gift to keep you equipped for your round on course. Collect your card.
Practice facilities: Enjoy the putting area equipped with a good size green to help prepare you for your short game shots which is a short distance from the pro shop. You will pass hitting nets to help warm yourself up before your game. With
9 Holes of Golf: Experience a well designed manicured course perfect for beginner golfers or those who have not transitioned into competition golf. A short course where you will find a few dog leg holes but also a lot of straight ones!
Rolling tee time from approximately 8:00am.
On-Course Competitions: Test your skills with Nearest the Pin challenge on hole 8
Straightest drive on hole 1
Light snack: Enjoy post game a mini bottle of Prosecco wine with fruit to compliment your drink while you dine and network with other players.
